This is my choice project. I made this at the beginning. It's about 6 inches tall and 5 wide. The glaze I used for it was white and blue. An art element would be color and texture and a design element would be using the rib tool to form the shape.

This is my wheel altered. It's about 5 inches tall and 4 wide. It turned out pretty cool. The glaze I used for it was white and burgundy. An art element would be color and a design element would be squeezing the sides to form the funny lip on top. This is my hand and wheel; you can tell because of the glass and shaped in the clay that I made from pressing the glass in so hard. It is about 6 inches tall and 3 wide. I used a variety of glass including: green bottle glass, red glass, white clear glass, and beach glass. The glaze I used for it was just white because I wasn't sure how the glass would turn out. A design element would be choking the clay to keep its shape. An art element would be texture because of the glass. This is my lidded project. I made a lide but mest it up after. So I am making a few lids that will fit it I just have to take a few inches off of the final bisque. It is about 5 inches or 6 tall and 4 maybe 3 wide. The glaze I used was white and blue. It turned out awesome. A design element would be choking it to keep the round shape and an art element would be color. This is my second small bowl. It's just about the same size as the first one and meets the requirements. I tried something new with the glaze and it was ok. I wanted the paint glaze to mix and run which it did in one spot so next time I know what I will do with it. An art element would be color and a design element would be using the rib took to shape it. It do wish that it was more flat on the bottom and then the wall was pulled up and then curved at the top like my bowl from last semester. BOTH BOWLS INCLUDED AS A SET SO YOU CAN SEE THEM TOGETHER. This is my small bowl #1. It's almost exactly like the rubric wanted it but maybe a few small errors. The glaze I used for it was white, the new blue or burgundy type color, and some green. A design element would be shaping the bowl(shape) and an art element would be color. I think it turned out pretty nice, I mean it has a similar glaze job as my big bowl does. This is my 2 talls turned into one. It is almost exactly ehat the requirements wanted. It is about 6 inches literally super close and close to 3 and a half wide. The glaze I used was white blue and green. Came out looking turquoise kind of. A design element would be texture because it is smooth and an art element would be color. This is my big bowl. It's almost perfect matching the rubric. It is about 6 inches tall and 7 wide maybe the other way around. The glaze colors I used were white blue and toothpaste and some other green. A design element is space and an art element is color. |
