this is my tall project. It's about 7 inches tall and 5-6 wide. The glaze I used white with a mix of blue. I really like the shades of blue in it. Design Element is textire and art element is color
these are my four bowls. They are all going to be the same color wise. The glaze colors that I am using is white and green. Mix with a blue. The first bowl is about 5 inches to six inches tall and around 6 wide. The second one is similar in height and width and the 3rd one is about 3 tall and 4-5 wide. An art element that is being used for all is color. A design element for all is emphasis. Oh and the 4th bowl is about 5 inches wide and 7 wide.
This is my double wall. It's hard to tell hit of you turn it over there's another dip in. There are two walls. It's about 2 inches tall and 1-2 wide. The glaze I used was white and blue. I like the streaks through it. An art element would be color and a design elements would be form. These are my theme projects. The first one is about 6-7 inches tall and 4-5 wide, second one is about 4-5 tall and 3-5 wide. The third one was about 3-4 tall and 4-5 wide. The glaze I used was white, brown, and purple for the special clay. The my are all the same type of project, but the bottoms are cut out on 2 of them. I didn't want them to be to similar. The theme here is suppose to be that they all belong to the vase family. Design elements- color, space, texture. Art element- emphany, form. This is my multi wheel project. It is about 7-8 inches tall and 2-3 wide. I created this by making to of the same vase and putting them together. To keep them together I slipped and scored and then used a rib tool to smooth it out on the lips. Then I rolled the lip on the counter in order to keep the nice form. The glaze I used for it was black and blue in like 2 spots. An art element would be color and space and a design element would be using the rib tool to create the lip. This is my set of three. It's nothing exciting but it's kind of cool. You may wonder why the last one is a different color. Well because one it is a different type of clay, so the glaze colors were limited, and two, I didn't want them all to be the same color. The reason it's a set is because you have one of each just being a different size. The first one is about 6-7 inches tall and 4-5 wide. The second one is about 4-5 talk and 3-4 wide and the third is about 2 inches tall and 3 wide. The glazing I used for the first 2 was white and some type of green. The last one I used a purple, I can't remember the triangle 10 glaze name for it. For the 3 projects an art element would be color, texture, and space. Design elements- pulling the wall with a sponge, using the sponge to keep a good lip, and forming a base. Real design elements are contrast? This is my second plate. It's my best plate. It's pretty big and I almost screwed it up on the wheel but I left it alone and let it dry and it turned out great. It's about 7 maybe 8 inches wide and around 3 tall maybe 4. The color I used was white blue and greenish. A design element would be using the rib tool to flatten the plate and an art element would be color. This is my first plate. It flew off the wheel 3 times and survived. As you can see it broke in the rague kiln. But it's dope still. It's 5 inches wide and 2-3 tall. The glaze I used was the special rague glaze. A design element would be the cool design in the middle of the plate. An art element would be the color and rough texture. This is my Frankenpot. It's dope. I made the top. It's pretty tall as you can see. If you look at it from a top view you can see the hole I made so you can see to the bottom. The inside is rough in some spots. The outside is nice and smooth. The glaze I used for it was white, green and blue. A design element would be using the pin tool to create the lines around the project and an art element would be color and texture. |
